Chris Fontaine Visits
NASCAR Silicon
Motor Speedway At
Universal CityWalk

Twenty-one year old 2003 Busch Grand National driver, Chris Fontaine paid a visit to our CityWalk Racing Center at Universal Studios in Los Angeles on Friday, December 20th. Chris was at the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway to film segments for both "The Other Half", hosted by Dick Clark and "Speed TV", a racing show featured on FOX TV.

Unfortunately, the weather in Southern California did not cooperate and a Shelby show car, which was instrumental to the segments, did not make it in from Las Vegas resulting in the segments being rescheduled for early January.

Fontaine did not let a little weather get in his way as he went head to head with several of our guests. "This is the most amazing race experience I have ever seen" remarked Chris as he took the checkered flag for victory in only his second race. "If you want to know what I go through every week just climb into one of these simulators and buckle up!"Tina holds on while Chris goes for the checkered flag!

Fontaine has his eyes set on the Winston Cup Series for 2004 and with his passion for racing and the sponsors falling nicely into place he is sure he will find himself in the full time line up. "Chris is one of those unusual finds that works as hard as you ask him to work and is a true role model to all that follow him" stated Tina Gomes, Fontaine's manager. "Chris, myself and the sponsors are all looking forward to an incredible 2003 inaugural season"!
