NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway to Host Official Media Luncheon For Nashville Superspeedway's Trace Adkins Chrome 300 Event

NASHVILLE, TN (May 30, 2003) - The NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway at Opry Mills was selected to host the Official Media Luncheon for the Nashville Superspeedway's Trace Adkins Chrome 300 event the weekend of June 6-7, 2003. Many of NASCAR's top Busch Series drivers and Kodak Southeast Series drivers will be at the Racing Center to kick off the race weekend festivities.

The lineup of NASCAR Busch Series drivers attending this media event includes Bobby Hamilton, Jr., Scott Riggs, Jeff Green and Randy LaJoie, as well as other drivers to be announced. Along with the several NASCAR drivers, there will also be local sportswriters, motorsports industry reporters and local television sportscasters attending the official launch of the Trace Adkins Chrome 300 event weekend at the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway on Thursday, June 5, 2003, from 11:00am to 12:00noon.

Following the private media luncheon, invited Guests of NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway's Speedway Racing Association (SRA) Club will be allowed to compete with the Busch Series drivers in races inside the Opry Mills Racing Center.

In addition, the nationally renown NASCAR artist, Sam Bass will not only be visiting the Opry Mills Racing Center to catch the racing action, meet fans and sign autographs, but is generously providing 12 signed NASCAR prints that will be awarded as prizes to our Guests racing with the NASCAR drivers during this event.

The general public is also invited to join all the NASCAR Drivers and Sam for an autograph session scheduled from 12:00noon to 1:00pm at the entertainment stage located in Neighborhood 5 of Opry Mills. The entertainment stage is adjacent to the NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway's front entrance.

NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway and the Nashville Superspeedway are providing additional race-week promotions including the opportunity for Guests to compete for Nashville Superspeedway t-shirts as well as tickets to attend the Trace Adkins Chrome 300 Busch Series event on Saturday, June 7, 2003.
