Our Racing Center at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL closed on July 24, 2004. It will reopen in September or October as a “Checker Flag Lightning” location in Gurnee Mills, in Gurnee, IL. Checker Flag Lightning will offer a tremendous selection of merchandise. We will provide an exact grand opening date for this new racing locations as soon as it is available.


Based on the type of business we have, we have anticipated several questions you may have regarding this closing.

Some possible questions, and their answers, are listed below:

1. If you have an SRA or Drivers Club Membership, what value does this have? You can continue to use this at any of our other locations. Our nearest racing site is the new racing center that will soon open in Gurnee Mills.
2. If you have a pending Gift Certificate or Track Pack refund and need to contact us about it? Any Gift Certificates or Track Packs purchased at the Woodfield Mall racing center can be used at the new racing site that will soon open in Gurnee Mills. If you are not able to visit the Gurnee site, please make a copy of your Gift Certificate or Track Pack and send the original to our office for a refund.
